It has been reported that power couple Jay Z and Beyonce are about to buy a new $85 million home in Beverly Hills.
The 23,000 square foot mansion in the Trousdale Estates section of Beverly Hills comes with views of Malibu Beach and downtown Los Angeles and…. the $85 million price tag.
Though not official yet, the couple has reportedly toured the home several times in the last few months.
The home which was finished in 2014 has 8 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms. Don’t forget when looking at the images that “ALL furnishings are included in the deal” – Even the cars!
I am sure there will be plenty more shown and written about this listing, but come-on folks…..$85 MILLION…..really?? More must be hidden somewhere.
Update: It looks like our sources were correct, it has just taken more time than we expected for them to purchase the home. It seems they have now visited the house 6 times and are in a ‘bidding war’ with 3 others for the keys to the mansion. The newly built house, listed by real estate maven Branden Williams, has been visited by many interested celebrities. Sources say Jay Z and Beyonce are ‘close’ to a deal and are “just a few million dollars apart” on the price with Williams. The talk is that the deal “should be closed by Christmas” at just under $70 million. We will keep you posted when the deal is signed, sealed, and delivered!
Update#2: It has just been reported that Swedish billionaire Markus “Notch” Persson – who created the video game Minecraft – managed to outbid the music super couple and secured the estate for himself for a record $70 million. It is unknown what lead to the turn of events, which found Markus closing the deal ‘in a lightning-fast six days,’ according to real estate brokers John Aaroe Group.
The 35-year-old Persson, sold his company Mojang to Microsoft for $2.5 billion in September.
It is now being reported that the super couple have also been looking for a home in Paris for the last several months. We will keep you posted.
