Australia’s wealthiest CEO has been revealed to be earning more than 430 times the average salary, while pay rises for workers have gone unchecked for the most part.

Domino’s Pizza boss Don Meij was revealed to have taken home an overwhelming $36.84 million in the 2017 financial year, a staggering 435 times more than the average full-time Australian salary of $84,661.20.

What’s more, the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) commissioned a survey that uncovered 80 per cent of workers had NOT had a pay rise that kept up with the cost of living in the last 12 months.

So it is not just in the U.S. that this unfair wages for CEO’s is prevalent.
