Microsoft Corp. CEO Satya Nadella made 154 times more than the Redmond-based company’s median employee in 2018.
Nadella’s total compensation reached more than $25.8 million in fiscal year 2018, according to Microsoft’s most recent proxy statement filed Tuesday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Microsoft’s pay gap – which companies are now required to disclose under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act – is larger than at Amazon, where CEO Jeff Bezos made 59 times more than the median employee.
