Homes For Sale – A HAMILTON Hill trophy home next door to the former mansion of the late Christopher Skase has sold for a whopping $5.25 million. You may remember that Christopher Skase was an Australian businessman who later became one of his country’s most wanted fugitives, after his business empire crashed spectacularly and he fled to Majorca, Spain. He later died of stomach cancer while still a fugitive.

The brand new house at 41 Dickson Terrace sold a few days before it was due to be publicly listed on the market — reflecting the strong appetite for luxury homes in Brisbane’s top end of town.
The sale has also landed the property in the top 10 residential sales in the city so far this year, taking seventh position.
Selling agent Dwight Ferguson of Ray White Ascot said two potential buyers made offers for the property, but one was too good for the vendor to refuse.
