House For Sale – Marketed privately for the past year at an eye-popping $105 million, a Palm Beach oceanfront estate on Billionaires Row just entered the local multiple listing service at an even higher price — $109.5 million.
Known as Pietra Mare, the 28,000-square-foot residence at 1341 S. Ocean Blvd. stands on 2 acres and is owned by securities-systems businessman Edward “Chris” G. Watkins. With Mediterranean-style architecture, the house has eight bedrooms and faces 170 feet of beachfront, about a half-mile south of President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago.
The property is now the top-dollar listing in the MLS, a search today showed.
Watkins paid a recorded $17.7 million for the property in 2001 and with his wife, Karen, built the custom home. It was completed in 2003, property records show.
