Week of April 22-28, 2018 – The Worlds Richest Man, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, 54, is still holding the top position with $122 billion, even after a loss of more than $4.5 billion since the last change. Former World’s Richest Person, Micorsoft’s Bill Gates, 62, is still holding on to 2nd place with $90.6 billion, down $1.02 billion since last change. Holding onto 3rd place is Berkshire-Hathaway’s Warren Buffett, 87, with $85.5 billion, down almost a billion since last change. France’s Bernard Arnault, 69, of LVMH, the world’s largest luxury-goods company, holds the 4th spot with $74.2 billion, up $800 million since last change. Rounding out the top 5 is Amancio Ortega, 82, founder of the Inditex fashion group, best known for its chain of Zara clothing stores, with $66.7 billion, up $970 million from last change.
