Ellison, bought his own private golf course back in February 2011 in Rancho Mirage, CA for the discount price of $45 Million. With the original asking price of $75 Million, the 249-acre golf course estate, features a golf club and golf course, a huge 18,400 square-foot main residence, eight guest houses, a pool, spa, gym and an amphitheater. The estate, named Porcupine Creek Ranch, has hosted many benefits and charity events. Ellison also owns property and a huge estate in Woodside, California, 24-yes 24, multimillion dollar homes on Malibu’s Carbon Beach with an estimated $250 Million value, the entire Hawaiian Island of Lanai, worth $500 Million, and in 2010 he purchased the Astor’s Beechwood Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island for reportedly $12 Million. Ellison is the nations 3rd richest man and the 8th richest in the world with an estimated $43 Billion Dollars.
